Saturday Fun

Saturday I watched Grace and Gavin Dehmer while their mommy and daddy worked. They all had so much fun jumping on the trampoline, watching a movie and driving the barbie car.

Farmers Market

Saturday morning the whole family made a quick trip to the farmers market downtown. This is my most favorite way to spend Saturday mornings!!! Emma and Bella a quickly being trained that this is their favorite thing to do too. Of course you can not visit a Downtown Des Moines Farmer's Market without getting a breakfast burrito. The line is always long, but moves really fast. Ben also discovered this year that they sell mini donuts like at the state fair so I am sure this will be something we have to get every time we go too. The mistake we made this Saturday was forgetting the stroller at home. I don't use it much anymore but at the farmer's market it is essential. As soon as the girls got out of the car their legs were tired.

Last Day of Preschool....

Thursday we had a picnic inside for the last day of preschool for the year. Emma was a little disappointed that the picnic was not at the park, but it was rainy all week and we can't control the weather. I did turn Emma loose with the camera. Interesting what she decides to take pictures of.

Science Center with the Dehmers

Wednesday we went to the Science center with Angie, Grace, and Gavin Dehmer. The kids had fun exploring....I am so glad I got a pass as the kids love that place. I did not get many pictures because they were so on the go I could not snap pictures fast enough!

New Bed

Last weekend was a busy one. I was actually happy to see Monday! One task we completed was that was finally found a bunk bed for the girls' room. We went to a clearance sale at Homemakers and found a white loft bed. It was perfect to slide the white bed we already had under it. you would have thought they were made together how well they look. We also got new dressers for the girls as they only had small dressers and their clothes were falling out.

First Communion

Last Sunday I went to celebrate Grace's first communion. I left Ben home with the girls because it was going to be packed at the church. We had lunch at the hall afterwards. Hard to believe Grace is old enough to have first communion already.
